Artist Helen...

...as she's officially known!
This morning we went to where her latest exhibition is being held - she wanted a few pics in front of her pieces. At the end she gave me a piece as a thankyou! I'm blown away by her generosity, I love her work!!!
An afternoon chatting with a new guy on the streets - seems really lovely! The kids and I then baked a banana, nut and cardamom bread, ready for tomorrow's team meeting. 
A late night booking to go to Madrid tomorrow for the afternoon/evening to see a friend who's having an especially rubbish time at the moment.

Oh also - torrential rain today - Helen and I were moments from being caught in it, but made it to the boat station cafe in time! See extra.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny giving me a lie in...he's a good 'un.
2) Helen's generosity!
3) The chance to see my friend tomorrow.
