PAINTED PHOTOGRAPH...

Another wonderful day...after the heavy fog lifted...the light was soft and warm, the air cool...everything looked like a painting to me.
This is Bayi (Baa-eee) Park, in the middle of the city. A great place of tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of the packed streets.
When walking through here the street sounds are quieter and you walk through what seems like a time bubble into the past...you here the sounds of old opera style singing, the Er-hu (Chinese style violin) and other ancient instruments playing...people doing exercises and dancing...on the weekend the laughter and cries of children on the rides which are here in the park too...its hard to leave this place sometimes...a throw-back into the past, a relaxed time...(Photo by Iain Dewar)
