Stuffed mussels

I met this chap at the bus stop today selling his wares. I asked what they were and was told stuffed mussels - stuffed with mussel rice and peppers. He was very happy to have his picture taken. I walked on and then met him again about half an hour later, this time selling his goodies outside a shop in the town.
The extra is something new to me, which I had heard of but never seen, a sea cucumber! The bay we've been swimming at has lots of them. They live mainly on the sea floor, and look a bit like a stem of seaweed, or a snake! It's not a vegetable at all in spite of its name but an animal
They have a star shaped mouth at one end which has tentacles which extend and contact and some legs which appear and disappear along its middle. It's made of a jelly like substance, a bit like a giant slug but more interesting. The whole thing is 12-18" long. It's not the best picture as my camera is not waterproof but good enough to see what it is, I thought.
