homage to marble

this reminds me of one of the first black and white photos I took when I was at art school. A picture that cemented in my mind how wonderfully and mysteriously light could be recorded. It was of a marble floor in the grand entrance to the Adelaide Railway Station. This is somewhat more humble, just a tatty old linoleum store room floor, but I hope you get the picture.
