Quitten & The Return Of The Heat

Quitten is German for Quince, which is what you see here.  This tree has produced an enormous crop of them.

We passed it as we were out for a walk to the local supermarket.  It's a bit of a trek when the temperature is 30°C and there is virtually no shade on the way there and the way back.  It's just good to get out of the house together though.

I finished filling in my questionnaire today.  My therapist said it should take about 4 hours to fill it in.  I had 4 hours yesterday and another 3 today.  I think if there is an appropriate time for TMI* this is it.

It is stressful and it does bring back long buried memories.  Some of which cut you to the core and leave you gasping.  I had to deploy my mask to stop me hyperventilating.

Apparently I had a very bad night.

I never know.

When I'm asleep I'm off in my own world fighting every kind of nightmare and I am totally unaware of how I sleep.  But if you wake up tired, that can't be a good thing. I wake up shattered.

Oh and I've learned something about me that I didn't know.  According to G, when I get nervous, I flick my nose.  She says that I've done that since she's known me - that's more than 8 years and I have NEVER noticed that I do it.  Maybe ElParsones or Islaynder can tell me if this is true.

What this knowledge has made me do is watch what I do with my hands.  And all of you with dirty imaginations can just stop thinking what I know you're thinking.
