Not Guilty M'Lud

These charred remains are all that is left of an enormous straw mountain, stacked up a few weeks ago by a 'not so popular' local farmer!

The drama came to light in the early hours of the morning, when the emergency services were called to the blaze.

Apparently, according to the fire brigade, unlike hay, straw cannot self combust, so they're looking at arson. Only 1,394 suspects then!

This is what it looked like a short while ago, bearing in mind that all those small stacks were later amalgamated into one colossal stack.
