No business like snow business

Hurrah! Snow on the first day of the school holidays - what fun!

We don't get much snow here, being coastal, and I don't think George has ever built a snowman before. This was an early morning attempt, quite small but beautifully formed.

Matthew had a pal for a sleepover last night and play today. Which is fine, except that I remembered I had a dental appointment this morning. You should have seen their faces when I rocked up with 4 little boys in tow! George was perturbed that I didn't get a sticker after my check-up, even though I had been well behaved. The boys were well behaved, too, so I bought them all sweets. Just don't tell the dentist.
