Picking Apples

A really busy day today.

Rugby first thing, and before it even started CyclopsJnr got distracted looking around for his friends while running across the room, and ran straight into a door.  Big bump on his forehead.  He still managed to enjoy the rest of the class though.

Afterwards we met up with Peach and her dog Pico for a walk at Corstorphine Hill Nature Reserve, followed by some lunch.  Lovely.

Then CyclopsJnr had a nap in the car while we drive to his Grandparents house to stay the night.

He was delighted to see them, and enjoyed picking apples from the tree.  They are really delicious this year, presumably thanks to some combination of the increasing maturity of the tree and the good summer.  He ate several, but still managed to scarf his dinner in no time too. He was exhausted by bedtime, and actually asked to go to bed!
