Warwick

We went to Warwick after lunch to see Maureen.  This weekend is part of the Heritage open buildings scheme in Warwick and we went round two properties, with a stop off at Nero in between.

The first place was Warwick's Old Shire Hall and Judges House which includes two original courtrooms.  The other place was St. Mary Immaculate RC church. An interesting building inside which also had a little exhibition of JRR Tolkien, including his books and maps of Middle Earth plus his marriage certificate as he was married at this church in 1916.  The church had laid on some live music, violins and organ from the balcony, and this piper who was just starting as we walked in.
