Fungi

On a walk through Cross Stone, Todmorden this afternoon, I spotted this fungi growing out of a wall  I thought that a bit unusual but I guess there must be some wood, tree roots or something inside the wall.
I've no idea what it is, but looking on Google it might be 'smoky polypore' - maybe a Blipper can help?
