Shades of the past.

Ice skating on the Ouse Washes and beneath are ducks which were hunted by punt gunners. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp6UXLD00GA shows how life was.  Behind the skaters you might notice coppiced willows that are still seen even today but in the older days they were used for making baskets, eel traps etc.:-)

The extra is how the waters are primarily used these days apart from drinking of course.:-)).
