One very happy man

Our weekend in Ilkely (42 walkers) started with torrential rain. 

Arth hated the drive down and was in a painful sulk, so I did not walk and rested. I did go to join the walkers in The Crescent pub (highly recommended for the great choice of real ales and the prices) after their walk. 

Alistair was very happy indeed. He loved pies of all sorts, but the pie maker in Ilkley carries the same surname as Al, as you can see.

The hotel is great for us, with comfortable beds and good food. (The alcohol is ridiculously expensive.)

I'm hoping to walk tomorrow.
