Posted in honour of @SpotsOfTime who must have looked something like this at some point during the last twenty four hours!  I hope she's home now safe, warm and dry.

Something odd was happening outside the window this morning.  The sequence of events, as best I could make out, is depicted in the extras.  Eventually they got in close enough to wade ashore.  

I very nearly called the Coastguards.
