The next pair of socks!

This is a merino/nylon blend from Pagewood Farms. They are a small company in California that specializes in hand dyed yarns. Their sock yarns are grand. This is when a swift comes in really handy. I put the skein on the swift and then wind it into a ball using a nostepinne or nostepinde. Basically, it is a stick that you use to wind a center pull ball. Works beautifully, and I like it better than a ball winder since it is a bit more gentle and does not put quite so much tension on the yarn. Now I get to start on the socks. Stay tuned!
