Patch of blue

Rain, rain, rain. And wind. We did walk around the island today (NO one is here except our firend P - we borrowed some dvds......) but I didn't bring the camera. Later this afternoon there was a little break and I was out with the ipad (and tooncamera!) by our little pond. As I looked at the reflection in the pond the white cloudy sky turned blue in just a few minutes! Amazing. Not for too long, but I might not have looked up to notice.....
Tomorrow son #1 and family arrive. Son#2 and family are planning to come friday. The kids are all very excited, I hope they've got their rainboots etc...It's supposed to be extremely rainy (and windy) all week long so we will be most thankful to be together without gale warnings or power outages.....
