Telephone Box at Krumlin
SATURDAY
For the first time in months I managed over 8 hours sleep and compounded things by having a lazy morning in bed reading the papers.
By mid morning the urge to have a run got the better of me and I set off on an anticipated 5 km route up to the moor. I just kept going and ended up at Ringstone Reservoir heading up on the Pennines which is quite exposed at 1,000 ft .
Headed back via Krumlin (where the 'phone box is situated), through Barkisland and a second ascent of Gallows Pole Hill. I hate this hill as it’s so steep and comes at the wrong time. I had clocked up 20 km by the time I reached home.
A trip to the tyre fitters with Harriet this afternoon.
A meal at Dean Clough Mill this evening followed by a trip to the Vue cinema to see Michael Caine and King of Thieves which is based on the Hatton Gardens heist.
