The dropped stitch

Step we gaily

The day started with the job of fixing up the banner for tonight's dance, then to a very pleasant coffee and catch up with Blipper Topsyturvy.

Sandwich and quiche making seemed to go on for most of the afternoon. I was stressed at the last minute that mine would be the soggiest tuna sandwiches of the buffet, but there was no time and no more tuna or bread to re-do the job.

It was a lovely dance. Numbers were good, a mixture of folk - locals and visitors, young and old, dancers and enthusiastic leapers. So great when anyone feels able to get up and join in. It made for some interesting set dances and much laughing. Really great fun!
