Heritage Open Day
in 1847 William Brown painted a 360degree panorama of Louth from the top of the spire on St James Church. 10,000 people lived in this busy market and industrial town. It is a remarkable panorama showing Louth and its buildings in great detail. Our house was built in 1987 between these 2 rows of trees in the thumbnail above and behind the Manor House. Local historian Richard Gurnham was in the old Court house where the panorama is housed to explain in detail about the pictures. It is a great piece of Louth history.
