Nature Study
We were tidying up the garden today and were about to cut back some flowers when MaggieD spotted a ladybird. On closer inspection there were seven on one plant and several others scattered around. The reason for this congregation was soon apparent, whole herds of aphids! As gardeners hate aphids, we love ladybirds because they are voracious demolishes of those tiny sapsuckers. I expect to see no aphids there tomorrow and no ladybirds either.
Thus endeth today's lesson!
