View of a hike

I’ve chosen this unremarkable photo for my blip today simply because for once I was able to get a shot of our progress. So by this point - around noon - we had walked inland from the coast on the left of this view, spent some time in Argeles Village, then climbed quite steeply to this balcony type path through the wooded hillside. Later we would descend to that white (poured concrete) château to the right and return home on the land train.

Lunch was eaten at the restored chapel of St Laurence, which was opened up just as we arrived because it was a festival day. We heard all about the restoration from the proud members of the society responsible. The chapel had a marvellous acoustic...
