Botanic Gardens

We travelled to Sydney today and stopped at the Botanic Gardens at Mt Tomah in the Blue Mountains for a break. The weather was lovely but oh boy it’s way too hot in Sydney for us. We like our mountain climate. There are fire warnings at the moment as well as snow forecast after a cold change. ????? What will happen is anyone’s guess.

We minded the grandchildren while their Mum and Dad had a much needed lunch break. I took the kids shopping. We had gelato, bought some books, and a light sabre, a ring that changes colour with temperature change and a pink rock.

Later we went walking to look for some suitable plants to smarten up the garden. Lots of fun. Tonight we are staying at our sons place nearby.
