Expectant Mum

This wee cobweb spider was clinging to her egg sac that was bigger than her body. She has her web on an old flowerpot, with her bolthole under the rim. She is almost transparent, taking up the colour of the pot. Note her leggy shadow. I don’t know what her scientific name is. None of the cobweb spiders I saw online looked the same.

Another glorious day. It has been so sunny and warm. Maybe one more before we are back to wintry weather.
