But mostly I’ve enjoyed reading my book by the pool. “A Month in the Country” by J L Carr for book group. It’s a far cry from Dubai.

Before heading off for the airport my cousin’s daughter and family are calling round to have a cup,of tea with us. Her husband works out here. They enjoy the ex-pat life, as did we when we lived in Hong Kong in the 1960s.
