The great escape
So the title doesn't go with the pic, really- but I had my blip all ready for today. We went to C's house and these three girls were so funny. They put their coats and boots on and were conspiring together to escape out of the door. M grabbed some keys (they were the wrong keys, unfortunately) that were hanging up and they all spent ages trying the keys, turning the handle, working together to figure out a way to get out (and Ash brought the wool... I'm sure that was in the escape plan somewhere). In the end we gave in and helped them get out and they had great fun riding bikes and making sand cakes (and decorating the back garden with sand... ooops, sorry C!)
So the reason the title doesn't match is that at the end of the day Ash found a pile of paper stuffing that came in a package and he started crawling through it, playing peek-a-boo, crunching it and basically having all sorts of fun and I couldn't not blip this joyful expression (And I couldn't be arsed changing the title)!
A huge proud mommy moment today. Cleo drew this picture of Daddy (you can see the likeness, right?) She said she wanted to draw Daddy (she's never actually drawn any "thing" yet, just scribbles really) so I drew the circle in the middle for her and she drew everything else, with no model or anything. I was amazed that she knew where all the parts went and think it's funny that she gave him so many legs. She must have been showing that he runs around a lot. She wouldn't be wrong!
