Thorns in my Life

'T' is for Thorns! ;-)

My dear C&R sr brought me this twig with two huge thorns with from last week's Prefect's Camp, with the specific instruction that it must be saved to be snapped today, for my first day of my 'T' week!! How sweet is that!!

I immediately remembered my dear friend and our Blipfriend, ~ConnieGoodall, gave me a 'Get well soon' card shortly after my mastectomies, I have blipped it at the time (will put links in when I am at my laptop again) the card read: Dear Ouma Helen,
Life's not akways easy,
sometimes there are big,
ugly thorns to make us cry!
Cling to what is yours though!
Your life as a child of God!
One day at a time!!

She often encourages me by just sending a wee message: 'Ouma, remember, one thorn at a time!!

I am sooo relieved to report tonight that the horrifying nausea and headache started fading away this afternoon and although I am very weak and tired, C an R jr helped me downstairs for rhe first time in 5 days late this afternoon! I had supper downstairs with the family and was cosily relaxing on the lazyboy couch in front of the TV until they came up to bed, when they all accompanied me upstairs and now I'm tucked in to bed for the night!!

Sleep tight, LuvUAll!!
