The putative piscine

One of the (few) advantages of working on the collapsed wall was that there was need for a source of stones and earth, a source that the old cellar provided. It is now taking shape and only the last end of the L shape remains to be cleared.Smell the chlorine - well actually no we plan to have a no-chemical system but saying "smell the no chemicals" doesn't really work.
A quiet day packing things up for our three day micro-holiday away at the start of next week and then dinner with an old Wellington colleague in the evening near Les Vans. 
As ever a slightly eclectic mix including a local estate agent, a Dutch woman who hosts an annual fireworks party locally, a Science historian specialising in the medieval Arabic world and a retired submariner with an interest in Scottish archaeology. Conversation ranged far and wide as you might imagine.
