Mercia Marina

Gloriously sunny - far too good to waste - so I went for a stroll on the first of three Wildlife Trails recommended by Mercia Marina.

It’s a mile and a half, part of the way along the canal, and circular. The other two are a little longer, taking in neighbouring villages. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Afterwards I relaxed with a coffee (with a delicious complimentary home made treat) in what used to be The Butcher, The Baker and The Candlestick Maker but is now The Beetroot Tree (?)

When I’d cooled down I popped into Blue Water. No sale goods, one lovely Masai tunic, but I resisted temptation.

Now that’s what I call a rather nice Thursday.
