Windy, rainy and downgraded

Tropical Storm Olivia made landfall on the northwesterly shore of Maui just after 9 AM.  Maui County bore the brunt of the storm today.  It passed south of Oahu, but we got rain and wind all day into tonite.   The high surf predicted for the east shores has not materialized yet, altho Hanauma Bay was closed as a precaution.   We consider ourselves lucky on this one.
