Filthy day!

The wettest, most miserable day of the year, with constant heavy rain and high winds just to blow the rain over our lenses! The forecast suggested that the wet weather would travel south east, so we picked the most north-west lake we could, and went to Loweswater, to benefit from the shelter of Holme wood. This week I have the company of fellow blippers SarahL2012, Keith Knight and Micro43. Take a look at their journals, and subscribe to them - especially fellow LPH blippers.

The theory didn't work, constant driving rain saw is beaten by 1 o'clock, so we retreated to Loweswater church, then on to the Kirkstile inn for tea, coffee or beers.

Amazingly, we still got some good photos!
