Wednesday: Viva Mexico!

This photo is pretty fuzzy, I'm afraid.

You can tell summer is coming to an end as all the national day celebrations are starting up again. Tonight it was Mexico, at the Van Dusen gardens.

This is my Mexican colleague, waving the flag. I should add that this isn't normal practice at national days but, apparently, it's part of Mexico's celebration to wave the flag a lot and shout 'Viva Mexico!' at the top of your voice.

It's certainly raised the bar for other celebrations!
