Connecting

Today's adventure was muddy, wet with lots of climbing, rolling and falling as per, but also a glorious 10 (!!) minutes where every child and accompanying teacher was laying on, in or under a tree.
 Looking, listening, feeling, smelling, experiencing. 
As much as I'm all up for the active running around version of experiencing nature, this was the most memorable part of today for most of the group. 
A good reminder that even young kids need chance to connect with green space, rather than just experiencing by passing through.
