The End of Europe

This is the lighthouse at the most southwestern tip of Europe, Cape Vicente, near Sagras. We visited here this morning. Only a few nature photographers were here waiting for the strange bird that no one has ever seen before. Long bicycle trails and hiking trails begin here. Scientists study the vegetation and find plants previously thought of as extinct. Extra is from the Sagras port.

We spent the rest of the day on the beach in Salema... very pleasant.
