Awesome
Up early this morning as we were expected to arrive at Darwin Island by 7. It was a slower crossing than expected so we suffered an extra long dive brief again before getting ready. Boat ride over to Darwin Arch and dropped down for the first proper dive here and it was awesome. Hammerheads at last and a big 15m female whale shark, which came back for a second look at us. Arrived back on the boat for a quick turn around to do a second dive before lunch. More hammerheads and some turtles as well. Lots of green moray eel. Got separated for the rest of the group and surfaces a bit too close to Arch. Third dive after lunch was a bit more of the same but we had a pod of 4 dolphins come by and another whale shark. Spotted ray in the distance. Fantastic days diving and I can see why this one of the most fantastic dive sites in the world. Shame about the main dive guide who seems more interested in diving for himself that looking after the group.
