Doing time

A recently opened Board Walk at Bullock Creek in Wanaka was developed by offenders who were serving community work sentences. The Community Probation Services surpervised the offenders who are instructed by the Judge to do their “time” in Community Work.
What a win/win.
The offenders learn new skills and build something of which they can be proud.
The community has another lovely short walk that is also wheelchair friendly. The planting is fabulous (extra) , and we will enjoy watching it mature.
