King Tide at Base Bridge - Mackay

Well the rains have returned.....they are expecting a King Tide today ( this is a new one for me, simply put its a higher than normal tide)

This country is full of extremes thats for sure.... what with the horrific bush fires raging in the south & the days of extreme flooding in the north... its a very harsh place.

The images on the news of the fires in Victoria are unbelivable, whole towns gone, what remains looking like the aftermath of war.... its hard to image losing everything you own & the home you live in, never mind losing family & friends.

What we've been having lots of is what they could use the most.... rain.

Oh well, atleast its not snowing .......

Another visit to the video shop today I feel.
