Big hips.....

Been a lot of rain last night again so no harvest again. Spent most of the day filling trailers of grain and loading them into the wet grain tower. This is a painfully slow job as the elevators and conveyors were installed in 1961 and are definitely on their last legs ( and have been for years now !)
Went down the road to check straw as it was blowing a gale this afternoon, but everything is still soaking wet.
Adam from Lothian Tractors called in so paid the bill and saved a stamp !
A few showers again tonight so not hopeful about combining the last 45 acres of barley tomorrow .
At least the weather seemed to suit the dog roses in the hedges as the rose hips are huge this year.
