Peg out

After 5 days of croquet, 9am to past 8pm, the Tankard came down to the last two matches. John lost to Ian. Nigel hit it, with thanks to opponent standing over his balls to indicate where they were in the growing gloom. He completed his last three hoops and made no mistake with the peg out. The win meant he tied with John and jointly win the trophy. 

Me, I finished my first 'eights' with a credible 6 out of 13. It would have been 7 if I hadn't missed a one yarder to lose my last match by two.
