Barnehurst footbridge at sunrise

Yesterday morning there was a gorgeous dawn visible from the moving train but it was not photographable from an open door at any of the stations we called at. So today I was at the ready with camera in hand but the dawn was not so inspiring. The sunrise however, by the time we reached Barnehurst, was worth leaping out of my seat and pressing the beeping Door Open button.

No exciting tugs at lunchtime and the studio I viewed was filled with decorators and their kit. So no photos there either

The flat is lovely! The team hopes to have it ready for this weekend! I doubt I will be, but I want it and I have said so.

There may be an issue with bicycle parking, but I am already negotiating with a hotel that has a car park just behind the apartment building, and failing that, I get a foldaway. I'm not missing out on this flat for the sake of my bike, no matter how fond of it I have become.
