Southern Hospitality

Our neighbor across the street dropped this off today. Welcome to the neighborhood and all. This is caramel pie, a southern specialty. The bottom goo is caramelized sweet condensed milk, the top goo is stabilized whipped cream (with meringue mixed in perhaps?). All is topped with caramel drizzle. we had a guest at the moment she brought it in, and the guest wanted a slice. She finished it, I'm not sure how. Since then, the pie is the freezer, and a teaspoon of the goos is all that's needed for a desert.
