Marwick

A nice walk along The Loons road in Birsay to Marwick Head and Birsay Palace. It stayed dry but very windy. The most interesting bird was seen when I was in the hide at The Loons. A bird of prey came hurtling toward me before veering into bushes. I heard ravens scolding so looked out the doorand saw the bird on a post. I got some ID type photos. Later, it was identified online as a 'saker type falcon', but an escape, not a wild bird. I've added these shots as extras. I hope it enjoys its freedom.
