Sun has Set from the Rambert Hut

The outline is of the Petit Muveran and the smaller looking peak is the Dents du Midi from a very different angle to the usual one I present. Extras are the distant big peaks: as the sun was setting. I bet intothehills can name them....

We really enjoyed the walk up to the hut in the late afternoon with a cool wind helping us on the way. We were very lucky to have only 12 non snoring people to share the hut with too! The hut guardian had placed a salt lick outside so a herd of bouquetin arrived as darkness fell. How strange it felt to be so close to these magnificent animals..... not good for photography though!
