Chicks

3 little chicks hatched yesterday with their 2 foster mums.
The hens had decided they were broody a while a go so we collected a few eggs from a friend who has a cockerel and our other hen. So the (hopefully) fertilised eggs were popped under the sitters. There was a bit of argy bargy and 7 eggs were reduced to 3.
But 3 chicks from 3 eggs is a good result!
The mums seem to be doing a good job and the chicks are thriving.
