woo-hoo!

*finally* a decent bit of snow - yahboosucks that it's at night tho, fingers crossed it lasts til daylight so i can get some better shots.

this was taken in a raging blizzard which you can't see except for the blur of snowflakes melting on the lens... the thing about the 'available light' setting on my camera is that it allows you to take pix in seriously dark conditions and get bright, if often spooky, shots (did you think 'oh yes, 11pm' when you saw the thumbnail? i doubt it). but it is such a fast iso that you get grainy and no pinsharp tiny details, such as snowflakes. still, a fairly nifty shot all the same. i'll try and photograph the same shots again in daylight for the compare-and-contrast game, tho no promises on blipping, you never know what might find its way in front of my lens...
