A splash of colour -

- on a miserable day.

Such a contrast to yesterday!

Yet there was a lovely sunrise. We knew the forecast was for rain so we got off to Harlow Carr early. Really we just wanted to revisit the Craft Fair which finishes this week but I did take my camera with me this time!

Chris hasn't been for a while and he was very taken with a new green house. Metal framed but wood finished - he estimated about £20,000 worth!

Inside there were lots of colourful chillies, growing and dried and an interesting collection of pumpkins and gourds
It was very windy and quite cool so after a quick circuit and shop at the craft fair we repaired to Betty's for coffee.

Back in the car by 11.40 am as the first raindrops started to fall.
Mission accomplished!
