Blaze of glory

Amazed to find a tree still so vivid. Won't last much longer I'd have thought...

A day of firsts today. Little G went to play and have lunch at a friend's house without mummy. Not even a backward glance and apparently they had a lovely time. My friend kindly dropped him down to pre-school for me while Littler G and I had adventures of our own in Letchworth. Looks like the voluntary role is a goer, so that'll be a much repeated journey over the next few months...
