THE KING....

.... Parrot that is!

Might recall the girls out playing last week and my comment re "why no male King Parrots?"


Well this arvo and a quick stop via the mighty Nepean River in Penrith found this majestic bird sitting in wonderful late light and having a good feed on the castor oil plants. They sure are a wonderful part of our bird life.

Also found this little Yellow Robin (in extra) sitting just watching (maybe even admiring) the Parrot!
