What a weather contrast to yesterday. Bright sunshine all day long.

Phil & Katta went back to Birmingham late in the afternoon. Travelling across country by train on a Sunday is such a pain. If I hadn't given them a lift into Colchester station, they would have needed another hour for the bus replacement service. As it was, their journey, via Ipswich, Bury St.Edmunds, Peterborough and Melton Mowbray still took four and a half hours and that was just to New Street, leaving a further bus or taxi journey!

I think they had a good weekend here - Emma loved it, but was very tired by the evening. I though was last to bed, staying around to watch the first US grand prix from Austin. It was a surprisingly good race with heaps of overtaking. What a difference from the last US GP at Indianapolis.
