Ark-building time

This time the BBC weather forecast was correct! It rained all night and continues to do so. There are floods in the fields and on the roads.

This was the view of the field beside the River Endrick outside Balfron late this morning. When I blipped the river a few weeks ago, you could see the pebbles on the bottom - now it has burst its banks.

Rumour has it that when this field flooded last year, all the sheep drowned. There were sheep in the field yesterday. There are none today. I only hope that the farmer heeded the warnings of heavy rain and moved his flock to safer higher ground.
