Not much of a picture I know but I didn't take any pictures. I did, however, switch my flight from Friday morning to Wednesday morning as it looks like the hurricane Florence will impede travel on Thursday and Friday. It won't impact my cousin-in-law from Canada, which is ironic, because she would like a couple of extra days in Lima.
This is my special women's Osprey daypack for hiking, which will serve as a second piece of carry-on luggage. You see the hydration cord which connects to the opposite side with a handy dandy little magnet. I needed someone from REI to show me how that worked. There is a capture clip on each strap, one for my Fuji, one for my GoPro. The bladder is drying out in the bathroom. The bag is stuffed with lenses and a gimbal. I have Moment lenses for my phone. I have a wide and good, all-purpose telephoto. I then have one for astrophotography and two for the one day at the national park for flamingoes and camelids. One is a zoom with auto-focus and one is the 300mm reflex manual in case the 230mm zoom is insufficient.
I may have gone a little overboard.
No, they won't all go on the trail with me. Ok, only the long ones won't go on the trail with me.
I now have to pick a hotel and figure out what to do with my extra time. Since there isn't a rush to the airport I'll stay in Miraflores district.
