old faithful

One of the things I inherited from the previous owner of our current dwelling was an old rose bush. I know nothing about rose horticulture, nor am I interested in learning it. I thought the poor thing would die in a year or two, but now we are into our 9th year here and it still produces a few blooms twice a year. Often the mule deer nip off the buds before they bloom, but this year I got a few for myself!
